Rob Dillingham's NBA journey has been anything but conventional. From being the youngest player in the G League to signing a two-way deal with the Timberwolves, Dillingham's path to the NBA has been filled with unique twists and turns.
Dillingham first made headlines in 2021 when he became the youngest player ever to sign a professional basketball contract, joining the G League Ignite at just 17 years old. He spent two seasons with the Ignite, averaging 10.4 points and 4.3 assists per game.
In July 2023, Dillingham signed a two-way deal with the Timberwolves. He has since appeared in five games for the team, averaging 2.8 points and 1.8 assists per game.
